Balasanyan's Interview Sent to NSS Director for Verification

The advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Gor Abrahamyan, reports that the statements made by the former Secretary of the Artsakh Security Council, Vitaly Balasanyan, have been sent to the National Security Service (NSS).

"It is not the specific statements, but rather the video of the interview that was published on one of the news websites. It has been sent to the Director of the National Security Service by the Prosecutor General's letter for the purpose of taking measures for verification, meaning to check the circumstances mentioned in the interview," he stated.

In response to a question about what procedures are in place, he advised not to rush to make final statements regarding the matter, as it will become clear following the verification whether there will be a criminal procedural process or not. He hesitated to comment on timelines, indicating that it depends on the actions taken.
