Turkey Shores Up Troops at Syrian Border
Turkey is sending military equipment to its border with Syria. Recall that earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that a decision regarding military operations in northern Syria could be made in the coming days. He noted that the aim of these operations would be to clear the border area of Syrian Kurdish self-defense forces and to resettle Syrian refugees currently residing in Turkey.
