‘Jhoghovurd’: Law Enforcement Clarifies the Reasons for the Massacre in Vanadzor
‘Jhoghovurd’ newspaper reports that on October 3, the acting Chief of Police of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan, held a secret consultation with police leadership and spoke very sternly regarding the issue of illegal firearms possession. According to our information, he emphasized that all illegal weapons must be found. However, the very next day, on October 4, the thirst for revenge once again found illegal firearms in Vanadzor.
During one night in the city, three people were killed, two of whom, according to our reports, are 25 and 30-year-old brothers. What happened that night in one of the houses on Michurini Street in Vanadzor, where two of the victims were found, left six others with injuries who were taken to the hospital, one of whom died on the way.
According to 'Jhoghovurd' newspaper, law enforcement has uncovered the reasons behind this massacre, but since it was a matter of familial and deeply personal revenge, the investigative body has decided not to release further information.
