Court Denies Armen Gevorgyan's Request to Travel to Austria
The court has rejected the request to change the measure of restraint for Armenia's former Deputy Prime Minister, Armen Gevorgyan. Gevorgyan was also denied permission to travel to Austria.
It should be noted that Gevorgyan's defense attorney, Erik Aleksanyan, submitted a motion to the court requesting a change in the measure of restraint for his client. Aleksanyan urged to lift the travel prohibition, and in the event of a denial, to grant Gevorgyan temporary permission to leave Armenia.
