Your Responsible Work Determines What Tomorrow's Armenia Will Be Like: Nikol Pashinyan Congratulates Teachers

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Teacher's Day. In it, he stated:

“Dear teachers, I warmly congratulate you on your professional holiday, Teacher's Day. Your role in passing on knowledge to generations and in education is invaluable, as the development of knowledge, skills, and abilities is crucial in New Armenia.

In New Armenia, teachers and schools should not only focus on imparting certain information to students but should prepare the upcoming generation for soaring towards much higher goals and achieving results to build a prosperous future for Armenia. This means that your responsible work will determine what tomorrow's Armenia will be like.

Since September 1, the salaries of 38,000 teachers across the republic have increased by 10 percent. This process will be continuous, as the government must keep the education sector in focus, particularly the ongoing improvement of education quality.”
