Threats are Unbecoming of the Prosecutor General's Status - Gor Abrahamyan

Gor Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, has addressed the statement made by Samvel Farmanian of the Republican Party of Armenia on his Facebook page.

“Samvel Farmanian has made statements regarding the possible actions of an investigator from the Special Investigation Service through a Facebook post, which are worthy of legal evaluation. The police are currently preparing materials regarding this post, which will clarify the identity of the mentioned individual and the circumstances of the incident. Proper information will be provided about the results.

If Mr. Farmanian has perceived the QUESTIONS posed by the Prosecutor General as threats in pursuit of their disclosure, it merely indicates his vivid imagination and a genuine loss of touch with reality. Firstly, making threats is unbecoming of the status of the Prosecutor General, and secondly, it is absolutely senseless and illogical,” stated Abrahamyan.
