I am confident that this was organized by the authorities and sponsored by them: in a conversation with Tert.am, Angela Tovmasyan, the head of the 'Hayeli' press club, commented on the recent attack against the club.

According to Tovmasyan, this was a clear attempt to pressure the media, which began days ago following the publication in Hayeli.am regarding the suicide of former police chief Hayk Harutyunyan. She stated, 'After that, there was an uproar and targeting directed personally at me.'

Regarding the publication that, according to those who besieged the club, was the cause of the attack, Tovmasyan commented, 'The author will respond quickly. There have been numerous publications of this kind. I advise them to follow the statements of their team leader, especially irresponsible statements about Artsakh.'

It should be noted that today, four young individuals besieged the 'Hayeli' press club. They threw eggs at the club's doors and pasted posters.

When asked if she considers it possible that the attack could be related to her brother, Constitutional Court President Hrayr Tovmasyan, Angela Tovmasyan replied, 'I do not rule out that the incident is also connected to my brother.'
