Police Investigates Attack on Hayeli Media Club
The Armenian police have not yet received a report regarding the attack on the Hayeli Media Club. Edgar Janoyan, the head of the police's media relations department, stated this in an interview with Armenpress.
"The police are examining the published material, and verification work is currently underway," noted Janoyan.
It is noteworthy that today, four young individuals besieged the Hayeli Media Club. They threw eggs at the doors of the club and posted placards. One of them, who identified himself as a citizen named Davit Hovhannisyan, stated that they demand the closure of the media outlet. They mentioned that the reason for their action was the article titled "Aliyev's Delayed, Yet Powerful Response to Pashinyan," published on the Hayeli.am website.
According to the participants of the protest, they intended to do the same inside the club if the door had been open.
