In Case of Drone Falling, We Would Enter the Field: How the Guys Prepared for the Flag-Waving Action at the "Dudelange"-"Karabakh" Match
During the 31st minute of the Europa League match between "Dudelange" and "Karabakh," the game was halted due to a drone carrying the flag of Artsakh that had entered the stadium. Our compatriots in Belgium have released a new video showing how they prepared for the notable action at the Luxembourg stadium.
The Russian site sport24.ru interviewed one of the organizers of the action, Spartak Adamyan: "I have been living in Belgium for 22 years, and I am an accountant by profession. When we found out that 'Karabakh' would be playing against 'Dudelange,' we immediately decided that we would come and carry out the action. Azerbaijanis shout everywhere that sports should be away from politics, but the name of their club says otherwise. Not to mention that they did nothing to allow Mkhitaryan to play in Baku.
Since I had no experience in operating a drone, I asked my friend to help. He gladly agreed. We needed four people to bring our idea to life. We split into two groups; one was on the roof of a building adjacent to the stadium, while the other was inside the stadium to film and communicate the situation on the field. If the drone fell, we would enter the field with two people. We couldn’t allow the flag to fall into other hands. Everything went according to our plan. After completing our task, we calmly brought the drone back, put it in the car, and left," said Spartak Adamyan.
