Deputy CEO of Aeroflot Arrested

The Moscow Basmanny Court has arrested Vladimir Alexandrov, the deputy CEO of Aeroflot, in connection with a 250 million ruble embezzlement case. This was reported by the RIA Novosti news agency.

Alexandrov is accused of large-scale fraud, as stated by hraparak.am. According to the investigation's hypothesis, he is said to have engaged various lawyers to provide legal services to Aeroflot, despite the fact that the work was being performed by in-house lawyers. Payments for these invited lawyers were made at a rate of 350 euros per hour.

Alexandrov will remain in custody until November 30. He has been overseeing legal and property issues at the Russian airline since 2016.
