Guests of WCIT 2019 in Armenia Include Kardashian, Tankian, and Others

The Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan, announced today during a government meeting the list of guests who will be hosted in Armenia for WCIT 2019.

He informed that Kim Kardashian, Eric Israelian, Serj Tankian, Alexis Ohanian, and others will arrive in Armenia at the invitation of the Prime Minister.

The minister urged the IT community to take advantage of this opportunity, suggesting they attend DigiTech, secure booths if possible, or at least be present in the area of either the complex or DigiTech, so they can approach, talk, and present their proposals.

Arshakyan also noted that the organizers had arranged for a shuttle bus to run from the exhibition area, allowing guests to visit the exhibition.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, emphasized the external political component of this event. He stressed the need to widely use this occasion as an opportunity to expand cooperation.
