9-Month-Old Diagnosed with Severe Gastroenteritis

Yesterday, a 9-month-old boy was diagnosed with severe gastroenteritis after being transferred to the Arabkir Medical Center. This information was provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia. The child's condition is currently assessed as severely stable and is under the supervision of doctors.

On October 2nd, the child was brought to the medical center in critical condition. The parents reported that they had taken the child for vaccination, and two days later, he began to experience fever. On the fourth day, the child was transferred to the Holy Astvatsamayr Medical Center. After observing that the health condition did not improve, the child was moved to the Arabkir Medical Center.

In a conversation with reporters, the child’s parent stated that the decline in the boy’s health was due to the vaccination, adding that 90% of the children in the medical center are facing the same issue, with initial symptoms including high fever, fluid in the lungs and chest, and edema. There have been cases where the kidneys ceased to function.

The Ministry of Health issued a statement, clarifying that the information published in the media does not reflect reality. They released a response from the mentioned medical center, which denies the claim that the child has a post-vaccination complication, stating that this is merely the family's opinion.

The institution explained that it is also untrue that 90% of children in the center have the same problem. According to doctors, many patients can receive treatment for various diagnoses, but currently, there is no post-vaccination status among them.
