2801st Anniversary of Erebuni-Yerevan to be Celebrated on October 19 with a Budget of Approximately 150 Million Drams
The 2801st anniversary of Erebuni-Yerevan will be celebrated on October 19. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Yerevan municipality, Hakob Karapetyan, in an interview with Tert.am.
“The celebrations are planned for October 19, and the events will take place in all administrative districts uniformly,” he said.
In response to Tert.am's question about the budget allocated for the celebrations, Karapetyan noted, “The budget is around 150 million drams. I want to emphasize that compared to last year, the budget has been shrunk by about ten times, although last year was a jubilee year, which is somewhat understandable, but it has still been significantly reduced compared to previous years.”
Regarding what events are planned, Hakob Karapetyan mentioned that there will be a press conference during which the entire program will be presented. “We will definitely present the programs next week,” he stated.
Karapetyan highlighted that the celebrations of Erebuni-Yerevan are sometimes marked at the end of the first decade of October, and sometimes during the second decade. “This year it has been decided to hold it on the 19th,” he added.
