What Did the Singaporean Delegation Taste in Yerevan and How Much Did They Spend?
As is known, a delegation of about 25 people from Singapore, led by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, has arrived in Armenia to participate in the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Supreme Council.
According to ArmDaily.am, the delegation members dined at the "Lavash" restaurant yesterday. They ordered almost everything on the menu, including stuffed grape leaves, gata, veal fingers, khashlama, grilled chicken, fish, grilled mushrooms, etc. The restaurant bill was settled in two phases; they made a preliminary transfer of 150,000 AMD, but since the order exceeded this amount, they agreed to transfer the remaining 30,000 AMD in the evening.
In an interview with the news outlet, restaurant director Vanik Gabrielyan noted that the delegation members enjoyed Armenian cuisine: "They tried various dishes, and I believe they liked our cuisine. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to hear their opinions on the food directly from them."
