The Mental Disturbances of the Khachatryan Sisters Due to Father's Violence

An additional forensic examination ordered by the Russian Investigative Committee has confirmed that significant harm was inflicted on the health of Mikhael Khachatryan's daughters—Kristina, Angelina, and Maria—due to his use of violence.

This information was disclosed by one of the sisters' defenders, Alexey Parshin, on a Facebook page. Today, investigators presented the results of the examination to the lawyers representing the Khachatryan sisters.

Forensic specialists have validated earlier assumptions that the mental disturbances identified in the Khachatryan sisters are causally linked to Mikhael Khachatryan's actions. Based on all the examined data, it has been established that Kristina, Angelina, and Maria have suffered serious harm to their health.

The defenders of the Khachatryan sisters believe that the results of the additional examination once again prove that the girls needed to defend themselves. Their lawyers insist that the criminal case against the Khachatryan sisters should be dismissed.
