I Will Not Revoke My Decision: Ararat Region Governor to Farmers

In the Norashen community of the Ararat region, there was again a protest against the decision of Governor Garik Sargsyan. Community residents expressed their dissatisfaction that the powers of community leader Norair Grigoryan had been illegally revoked and demanded his reinstatement.

“I will not revoke my decision. This is a letter from the Minister of Territorial Administration Suren Papikyan. Everything has been done legally. We have all the facts, we have presented everything to the relevant authorities, and a comprehensive examination has shown that there are no violations,” said the governor, displaying the document.

It is noteworthy that the governor did not wish to speak with the farmers and journalists.
