Constitutional Court Judges Will Make An Impartial Decision: Makunts on the Suspension of Tovmasyan's Powers
Will the Constitutional Court be able to impartially review the question of Hrayr Tovmasyan's suspension of powers with this composition?
Journalists in the corridors of the parliament posed this question to Lilit Makunts, the head of the 'My Step' faction of the Armenian National Assembly.
“It is essential to first adhere to the premise that the judges of the Constitutional Court will make a decision based on legal arguments. I do not want to present any position in advance. I think, rather, let us hope that they will make an impartial decision,” stated Makunts.
She noted that their arguments and justifications for suspending Tovmasyan's powers are substantial.
