Current Authorities Hate Republicans and Show Great Respect Towards Azerbaijanis: Ashotyan
Ruben Rubinyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction and Chairman of the National Assembly's Permanent Commission on Foreign Relations, today addressed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement from the UN podium regarding the Artsakh conflict on his Facebook page. Rubinyan reiterated the Prime Minister's thesis that 'the resolution of the conflict should be acceptable to Artsakh, to Armenia as the guarantor of its security, and to the people of Azerbaijan.'
He also added: 'I tried to calculate who has criticized the Prime Minister's ideas expressed from the UN podium more, Azerbaijani officials or Republicans. For now, Republicans are winning.'
In response to Rubinyan's statement, 168.am requested a comment from the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan. 'It is unfortunate that Ruben Rubinyan, with such an approach, finds himself in the same category as the notorious Secretary of the Security Council, due to his incompetence and unprofessionalism. In reality, we have long noticed that the current authorities, led by Nikol Pashinyan, hate Republicans and show great respect towards Azerbaijanis, which was also evident in Nikol Pashinyan's recent speech at the UN,' emphasized Armen Ashotyan.
