Artsakh Foreign Minister Receives Delegation from Strovolos, Cyprus
On September 27, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Masis Mayilian, welcomed a delegation from the Republic of Cyprus, led by Mayor Andreas Papacharalambous.
According to information from the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Foreign Ministry of Artsakh, the Minister expressed his appreciation for the delegation's visit to Artsakh, noting that it provides a great opportunity to become familiar with the country and the achievements made in the state-building process in the republic, particularly in establishing and developing the local self-governance system.
Masis Mayilian emphasized the establishment of external relations through a decentralized cooperation framework as one of the main directions of the Republic of Artsakh's foreign policy, which is of crucial importance for both the effective functioning of Artsakh's communities and the republic's involvement in international processes.
In this context, the parties exchanged thoughts on the possibilities and prospects for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between one of Artsakh's cities and Strovolos in various humanitarian areas.
The meeting was also attended by Gaspar Karapetian, Chairman of the European Committee on Armenian Cause of the ARF, Hakob Gazanchean, the responsible for the Armenian Cause Committee, and Raffi Mahdesian, a member of the Cyprus ARF Committee.
