Foresters' Salaries to Increase

As part of a decision adopted by the government today, the nominal salaries of foresters and forest rangers will increase by approximately 20,000 drams.

This change will affect the nominal salaries of 99 foresters and 512 forest rangers across 19 forestry enterprises.

Deputy Minister of Environment Irina Ghaplanyan indicated that the salaries for foresters, before taxes, amount to only 95,000 drams, while forest rangers earn 70,000 drams.
