Armenia in Good Shape Regarding Drug Counterfeiting, Melikyan Says

Armenia is in quite a good position regarding drug counterfeiting. This was stated by Levon Melikyan, the director of the Expert Center for Drugs and Medical Technologies of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, during an interview with Tert.am at the conference titled “Advances in Drug Creation: From Design to Consumption,” held at Yerevan State Medical University.

“Any medication that raises suspicions is sent to laboratories for examination,” he noted.

According to Melikyan, during the conference, specialists from several countries presented international practices and developments in the field to future pharmacists.
