Hundreds of Women and Men Swim Naked in the North Sea: Details

About 700 British women and men swam in the North Sea in support of a mental health charity called Mind, reports the Daily Mirror.

The charity event took place on September 22, just before the autumn equinox. Participants were treated to barbecues on the beach.

Even individuals using wheelchairs joined in the swim. One participant, a 41-year-old woman, stated, “We took the risk, merged with nature, celebrated, and showcased the uniqueness of our bodies.”

Earlier, it was reported that 1,800 naked women had participated in a charity event called Strip and Dip in Ireland, aimed at raising awareness for breast cancer.
