Body of Azerbaijani Soldier Recovered from Line of Contact Between Artsakh and Azerbaijani Armed Forces

The body of an Azerbaijani soldier has been retrieved from the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijani armed forces with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

"Yesterday, at the request and with the agreement of the parties, the ICRC participated as a neutral intermediary in the operation to retrieve the body of the deceased from the line of contact," stated Zara Amatuni, head of communication programs for the ICRC delegation in Armenia.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Defense of Artsakh had announced the halting of a diversionary infiltration, during which an Azerbaijani soldier was killed. In response, Azerbaijan hastily declared that soldier Ramin Abdulrahmanov had gone astray and was killed.
