The Guilty Will Face Their Punishment: David Tonoyan on the Assault Case Involving the Lieutenant Colonel

The most worrying thing is that our lieutenant colonel's health condition does not give us much hope. This was stated by Defense Minister David Tonoyan during a conversation with journalists, addressing the controversial assault that took place in Vayots Dzor.

"He is currently in the MoD hospital under our supervision," Tonoyan said.

When asked if he would be persistent in ensuring that there would be no cover-ups, he responded, "There should not even be a small doubt. I believe that not only I will be diligent, but all members of the government will as well. The military police, in cooperation with the civilian police, are conducting operational investigative work in a completely honest and fair manner. The guilty will face their punishment."
