Anna Hakobyan Visits 2.5-Year-Old Boy Who Fell from 6th Floor
On September 20, Anna Hakobyan, the wife of Armenian Prime Minister, visited Arvin Viksomin, a 2.5-year-old boy who fell from the 6th floor of a building in Yerevan, at the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center. Accompanied by Nikolay Dalakyan, the director of the hospital, and Anna Chobanyan, head of the intensive care unit, Anna Hakobyan met with the young boy, brought him gifts, and spoke with his parents.
“I am very happy that the child is already doing so well. I couldn’t miss visiting the child, as well as expressing my gratitude to the doctors for bringing him out of that critical condition,” Anna Hakobyan said in a conversation with reporters after the visit, adding that when she entered the room, the little boy smiled widely upon seeing the ‘Spider-Man’ toy in her hand.
“I was also very pleased to see the boy’s big smile. It’s nice when a child is in the hospital receiving treatment but still smiles at you. He was also happy with the other gifts,” Anna Hakobyan noted, candidly sharing that she had learned beforehand that little Arvin’s favorite character is ‘Spider-Man’ and she had brought that specific gift for him.
Earlier, it was reported that on September 5 at 10:32 AM, a 2.5-year-old boy fell from the 6th floor of a building at 32 Tumanian Street in Yerevan. The child was transferred to the intensive care unit of Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center in an unconscious state. He sustained multiple injuries, including circular fractures of the skull, brain contusion, spinal fractures, and fractures of the pelvic bones. He was connected to a ventilator and remained unconscious. Doctors assessed his condition as extremely severe. On September 9, the boy regained consciousness and recognized his parents.
