Wind Strengthening Expected on September 21, Warns Surenyan
Gagik Surenyan warns the organizers of the independence day events. The head of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations' meteorological service, Gagik Surenyan, noted on his Facebook page regarding the weather forecast for the coming days:
“Dear organizers of the independence day events, please take into account that on September 21, especially in the afternoon and evening hours, wind strengthening is expected across the republic, with gusts reaching 20-25 m/s.”
It is noteworthy that this year the significant events dedicated to the independence day of Armenia will be held in Gyumri. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also attend these events.
Additionally, for those wishing to travel to Gyumri on the 28th anniversary of independence, four trains will operate in the Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan direction. The trains will depart from Yerevan at 07:55, 09:15, 09:55, and 12:00, and will return at 20:25, 21:40, 22:40, and 24:00.
Approximately 220 million AMD has been allocated from the state budget for the organization and implementation of the events. The main festivities dedicated to the independence day on September 21 will kick off at 11:00 AM in Gyumri's central park.
