City Hall is Managed by Talented Actors: "Sanitek"

The staff of "Sanitek" is deeply concerned about how our employees, who have worked day and night for years to ensure the comfortable daily life of our city, have found themselves in such a difficult situation. This announcement was made by the company "Sanitek".

The statement also notes: "It is very worrying how the city hall continually maligns and slanders the leadership of the company and its work over the years. We reaffirm that for the month of August, approximately 430 million AMD was supposed to be transferred from the Yerevan City Hall to the company for servicing 12 administrative districts. For the first half of August, the city hall transferred to our company 141,831,728 AMD, while withholding 69,546,191 AMD for that period, paying for only 5 of the 12 districts."

The amount transferred for the first half of August has been spent by the company on organizing its daily operations, including fuel, cleaning supplies, fulfilling other financial obligations, and covering other ongoing expenses. For the second half of August, from the 16th to the 31st, no transfers have been made by the city hall to date, and furthermore, invoices and performance statements submitted by "Sanitek" have not been accepted by the administrative districts.

It should also be noted that the salary fund of the "Sanitek" company for the month of August is about 132 million AMD, which the company is unable to pay as it has not received the second payment from the city hall for August. In fact, only 32.5% of the total amount has been transferred for the entire month of August.

Amid all this, we record the city's continuous demonstrative actions and lies, led by talented actors; the truth has never been respected or appreciated by the city hall throughout this time. Deceiving "Sanitek" for personal interests and one’s own agenda is one thing, but deceiving the people is another. We call on the public to understand why the funds of the "Sanitek" company are continuously being seized and to question why 52 garbage trucks are being purchased when 30 are more than sufficient for the city’s cleaning operations, as well as the quality and source of the garbage bins being bought. Is this the effective management and use of public resources?
