Video: 23-Year-Old Pickpocket Detained

On September 11, a 40-year-old woman reported to the police station in Erebuni that her wallet had been stolen on a public bus, which contained cash, a mobile phone, and other items. The following day, officers from the 3rd Department of the Main Criminal Investigation Department managed to uncover the pickpocketing incident.

The police report states that after obtaining operational information, they detained a 23-year-old resident of Yerevan, who provided a confession. Subsequent measures revealed that the detained individual had also stolen a wallet on September 5 from another public bus. Efforts to recover the stolen property are ongoing. Materials are being prepared regarding the incidents.
