Surens Papikyan Holds Meeting of Project Management Council in Energy Sector

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, Suren Papikyan, chaired a meeting of the Project Management Council overseeing programs funded by foreign governments and international financial organizations directed to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia.

With the participation of several heads of companies from the sector and ministry officials, discussions centered on issues related to the extension of operation timelines and modernization programs for the second energy block of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, as well as competitive processes.

As a result of the meeting, the Management Council approved the selection results of organizations providing equipment modernization and supply services aimed at ensuring the safety of the system within the framework of the project. The council also reviewed the proposals submitted by the organizations and draft additional agreements.

Furthermore, certain organizational matters were addressed, and relevant instructions were issued.
