High-Tech Industry Ministry Requests Partial Funding from Government

The Ministry of High-Tech Industry is requesting approximately 52 million AMD from the government’s reserve fund to secure the salary fund for its employees.

Of this amount, about 40 million AMD is intended for employee salaries and bonuses, while 12 million AMD will be allocated for awards, monetary incentives, and special payments.

This proposal has been submitted for discussion through the unified website for the publication of legal acts.

With this funding, the ministry aims to mitigate the risks associated with underfunding.

According to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, the government decided on July 25 to cut the salaries of 35 employees working under their jurisdiction, along with bonuses and other maintenance costs (within the limit of 64 million AMD), and transfer them to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

“This means that the current resources of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry are only sufficient for the maintenance of 95 positions,” the ministry reported, adding that to ensure the normal functioning of the ministry, which has 198 positions, approximately 52 million AMD is needed.
