Exclusive Video: Collision of Gaz 2411 and Mercedes

SHAMSHYAN.com presents an exclusive video showing the collision that occurred on July 15 of this year between a Gaz 2411 and a Mercedes in the Gegharkunik region, resulting in one person being hospitalized.

As previously reported from the scene by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a major traffic accident happened in Gegharkunik on July 15. At approximately 12:40 PM, a Gaz 2411 with license plate 02 TS 594 driven by 83-year-old Vanik Petrosyan from Yerevan collided with a Mercedes with license plate 35 TZ 893 driven by 21-year-old Sergey Manasyan from Hrazdan on the 52 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway.

As a result of the accident, a female passenger in the Gaz 2411 sustained injuries and was transported to the medical center in Sevan. The photojournalist reported that the first responders to assist the injured passenger were women passing by in their vehicle who were on their way to Tavush province. They provided necessary medical assistance for over 40 minutes to the injured passenger lying on the ground, and only after 40 minutes, when they noticed the ambulance from Hrazdan was delayed, did they contact the medical center in Sevan. The doctors from Sevan arrived swiftly and transported the injured individual to the hospital.
