Vitaly Balasanyan Issues Statement
Hero of Artsakh and former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, Vitaly Balasanyan, has issued a statement, in which he says: “Since September 3 of this year, news has circulated in the press regarding the notification sent to me by the RA Investigative Committee. According to the provisions of part 2 of Article 201 of the RA Criminal Procedure Code, there is no notice in the notification regarding the obligation to refrain from publishing preliminary investigation data without permission, therefore, I believe it is morally necessary to inform the public about what this is about.
First, I would like to mention that the confidentiality of preliminary investigation data regarding criminal case No. 62202608 is not being maintained in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law (testimonies of Major General S. Karapetyan and Major General K. Vardanyan), including information related to the notification received by me. Below, I present copies of the receipt of the notification, my relevant testimony, and videos to the Special Investigative Service. In the future, I will provide detailed comments on all these issues.”
It is worth noting that earlier, Vitaly Balasanyan had issued another statement, in which he indicated that for the sake of ensuring internal stability, they would stand by the government and statehood until the end.
