Tragic Accident: Bus Slides on Rocks and Falls on Driver
Today, September 12, a tragic and unfortunate incident occurred in the Armavir region. At approximately 15:25, the Armavir Police Department received a report of a body at the grape collection point belonging to the "MAP" factory in the village of Aygevan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamsyan, the operational group of the Armavir regional police, led by Colonel Aram Hovhannisyan, arrived at the scene. Also present was a group from the Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, headed by Colonel of Justice Samvel Tonoyan.
The operational group of the Armavir Police Department, led by Deputy Police Chief Armen Khachatryan, also arrived at the location. The investigation on the scene was led by specially appointed investigator Khachatryan, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
Police and investigators established that around 15:00, at address 8 on the 1st alley of 5th street in Aygevan village, the rear section of a non-operational bus, belonging to the “MAP” company with registration number 496 SL 28, rolled on the rocks while 53-year-old Artak Sargsyan, a resident of Bambakashat village, was removing the bus tires. The bus then fell on A. Sargsyan, causing him to die on the spot from head injuries.
Investigators ordered several examinations, including a forensic medical examination. According to G. Shamsyan, the deceased worked as a driver at the "MAP" company.
