MPs Bid Farewell to Edgar Arakelyan with Applause

The parliamentary powers of Edgar Arakelyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly, have been terminated.

Before the parliamentary session, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, announced: "Based on the MP's request and in accordance with the requirements of point 6 of the first part of Article 154 of the 'Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly' constitutional law, we hereby terminate the parliamentary powers of Edgar Arakelyan, who was elected on the national electoral list of the 'My Step' alliance. I have sent a letter regarding this to Tigran Mukuchyan, the chairman of the Central Electoral Commission. On behalf of all of us, I thank Edgar Arakelyan for his cooperation during this time."

Following Mirzoyan's remarks, the MPs applauded.
