If the Court Releases Robert Kocharyan, Our Government's Responsibility Is Not There: Mirzoyan
In a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan addressed the trial of Robert Kocharyan, expressing hope that despite legal reforms not yet being implemented, judges will be impartial as required by law.
“If the court decides to release, for instance, Robert Kocharyan or another defendant, our government's responsibility is not there. We cannot create disappointment in what we have not promised the people. We did not promise or arrest anyone based on any list, regardless of how the preliminary investigation and judicial processes will unfold,” he stated.
Responding to journalists' remarks that the government promised to clarify the events of March 1, Mirzoyan noted that the case is currently being examined in court.
