The trial on the March 1 case officially begins today at the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, with former President Robert Kocharian, former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, former CSTO Secretary-General Yuri Khachaturov, and former head of the presidential staff Armen Gevorgyan as defendants.
All of them are currently present in court, where the session will be presided over by Judge Anna Danibekyan.
Before the start of the court session, Seyran Ohanyan stated that he could not provide any assessment of the process, adding, "At this moment, what’s important is that the measure of restraint against the second president is changed, and he is released from detention. The rest will be heard in court."
