ZIL Crashes into Concrete Barrier, One Dead, Father and Son Injured
A tragic incident occurred in the Armavir region on September 11. According to Shamshyan.com, around 15:00, a 52-year-old resident of Dasht village, Saribek M., was driving a ZIL vehicle with license plate 35 NA 908 on the Yerevan-Armavir highway at the 23rd km mark when he veered off the road and crashed into the concrete barrier of a house located at 98/1 in the Andranik neighborhood of Ejmiadzin.
As a result of the accident, driver Saribek M. has died, while passengers, 31-year-old Daniel S. and 17-year-old Davit S., residents of Ejmiadzin, were taken to the Vagharchapat Medical Center with physical injuries.
A criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code. The accident occurred after the driver's health deteriorated while driving, and it is possible that he suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel. Among the injured, Daniel S. serves as a contractual serviceman in the N Military Unit of the Police Forces, while the other injured, Davit S., is his son.
