The Japanese Government Resigns in Full
The Japanese government has resigned in full this morning. According to the Kyodo news agency, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has accepted the resignations of his cabinet members.
The reason cited is the planned reshuffle of the government following the party's victory in the upper house elections in July, and prior to the scheduled increase of the consumption tax to 10 percent in October.
