Hraparak: Not Only Vanetsyan Submitted a Resignation Request
«Hraparak» newspaper reports. «Yesterday, news spread that the Director of the NSS, Arthur Vanetsyan, submitted a resignation request, but then he withdrew it at the urging of Prime Minister Pashinyan.
This news was quickly denied by relevant authorities, but Armenia is a small country, and such information, which is usually true, spreads rapidly. We tried to gather further information regarding this resignation; notable revelations were provided to us from circles close to the government.
It was revealed that not only Vanetsyan but nearly all members of the government regularly submit resignation requests, which are then torn apart either by the Prime Minister or by the applicants themselves. Such requests have been submitted by both deputy prime ministers and ministers, as well as the mayor.
The issue lies in the fact that working with Nikol Pashinyan is not easy—he is impulsive, unpredictable, and can insult a person in anger, saying, 'Write a resignation, leave.' Later, he cools down and sometimes regrets it, but the affected parties find it difficult to cope with such behavior and tend to consider leaving.
Details to follow in the paper's latest issue.
