Fire in Davtashen: A Child Injured

On September 11, at 13:39, the "911" service received a call reporting smoke in one of the apartments on the second floor of a residential building in the 4th district of Davtashen, Yerevan, with a gas leak present. According to preliminary data, there is an injured child inside.

Two fire units from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Rescue Department in Yerevan and a junior instructor from the psychological support department were dispatched to the scene. Before the rescuers arrived, Margarita M. (born in 1996) managed to escape to a neighboring apartment from her balcony.

The fire was contained by 13:52 and fully extinguished by 14:13. The kitchen sustained damage with a refrigerator and a one square meter cabinet being burned.

The junior instructor from the psychological support department provided psychological assistance to the residents, Maga and Marina M.
