External State Debt Decrease Trend Registered: Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made a post on his Facebook page regarding the decrease in external state debt.

The post states that in August 2019, a decrease in external state debt was registered for the first time since 2015. Of course, the reduction of state debt is not an end in itself, but it is the result of our clear objective to spend state resources efficiently.

This, of course, somewhat slows down the pace of capital expenditures because the system is used to operating under different, known rules. However, this is undoubtedly the right path: preventing state resources from being wasted on substandard construction and unnecessary expenditures.
