Cause of Russian Army Soldier's Death in Gyumri Revealed
Russian media reports that the cause of death of Russian contract soldier Alexander Nikolayevich Babushkin, which occurred recently in Gyumri, was a ruptured spleen. This injury was sustained during a traffic accident days earlier.
"Materials are being prepared in the Shirak Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee to clarify the circumstances surrounding the death of the 23-year-old soldier from the Russian 102nd military base," the Investigative Committee of Armenia informed ShantNews.am.
Earlier, news was reported about the death of the 23-year-old soldier. At that time, it was known that he returned home early from work due to feeling unwell. He subsequently died suddenly at home.
It should be noted that the incident had been known prior to this. The soldier had been involved in a motorcycle accident and had fallen off. After the accident, he did not seek medical assistance. However, it was later determined during the autopsy that his injuries were serious. Internal bleeding began due to the rupture of the spleen, which led to his death.
