Major Car Accident Occurs in Armavir: Injuries Reported

On September 9, a major car accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 07:00, Vardan S., a 51-year-old resident of Agavnatsun village, collided with a VAZ 2106, registered with the license plate 28 TL 538, belonging to 29-year-old Hayk A., while driving his Mercedes, license plate 23 TS 883, on the 1st street of Arshaluis village.

According to reports from Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver Vardan S. and his passenger, 54-year-old Haykaz V., also from the same village, were taken to the Vagarshapat Medical Center with injuries. The first responders were the driver of an ambulance and his relatives.

A patrol unit from the 2nd squad of the 1st platoon of the Traffic Police arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Vahan Evinyan and squad commander Karen Abelyan.

The incident was reported to the Yerevan Traffic Police’s operational management center by responsible officer Yura Hovhannisyan, prompting an operational group from the Vagarshapat Police Department to arrive, headed by acting department head Davit Petrosyan.

Investigative actions at the scene were led by the investigator of the same squad, Narek Petrosyan, who is preparing materials regarding the incident.
