Arsen Torosyan Also Testified Against David Sanasaryan
On August 25, it became known that the National Security Service had completed the preliminary investigation into the case of David Sanasaryan, the head of the State Audit Office.
Additionally, David Sanasaryan, along with his lawyers, has decided to submit a petition to halt the criminal prosecution against him. The findings from the operational measures conducted by the NSS's Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department reveal that no evidence has surfaced regarding his connections, unlawful activities, or other circumstances.
Ultimately, based on whose testimonies has David Sanasaryan found himself in the defendant's chair, and what can be expected in court? The newspaper 'Haykakan Zhamanak' has learned that numerous individuals have been interrogated in connection to the criminal case, including employees of the State Audit Office and several other high-ranking officials.
According to the paper, only former employee of the State Audit Office Samvel Adyan, who has the status of a defendant in this criminal case, and Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan have testified against David Sanasaryan. It is noteworthy that during the preliminary investigation, Sanasaryan and Minister Torosyan were confronted; the latter was posed questions, but he was essentially unable to provide any answers.
It has been revealed that Samvel Adyan wrote his testimony out of fear of threats. According to the newspaper, there are no other pieces of evidence or testimonies in this case, and the entire case has been constructed based on the testimonies of the aforementioned individuals.
