What Our People Have Done Deserves to Be Presented to the World

Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, shared her impressions about the premiere of the documentary film "I Am Not Alone" at the Toronto International Film Festival.

"I felt great excitement while watching the film. What our people have done deserves to be presented to the world. I am confident that this film will do that wonderfully. I want to particularly emphasize that the miracle of the Velvet Revolution was also made possible thanks to the significant and decisive participation of Armenian women," Hakobyan stated in her Facebook post.

It was previously reported that on September 7, the premiere of Karen Hovhannisyan's documentary film "I Am Not Alone" took place in a packed hall at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film presents the Velvet Revolution that took place in Armenia in April 2018 in all its exceptional course and success.

The Facebook page of the Armenian Embassy in Canada reports that the event was attended by Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Harutyunyan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Canada, the renowned Armenian musician and co-author of the film, Serj Tankian, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Canada, as well as numerous representatives of the Armenian community in Canada.
