VIDEO: On September 21, we all go to Gyumri, says Prime Minister
On September 21, we all go to Gyumri. I would like to remind everyone that this year we are starting the process of holding the main event of the Independence Day celebrations in the regions. The first such event will take place on September 21 in Gyumri. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page.
The Prime Minister added in his post: “The government staff promises an unforgettable event, and last year’s experience showed that they can fulfill that promise. And so that the holiday does not move away from Yerevan and that other cities also have a festive appearance, I believe it is worth urging our citizens who are interested to decorate their balconies overlooking the streets with independence-themed motifs. There is even an idea to hold a competition for the best building. The simplest way to make a building festive is to display the national flag of Armenia from the window or balcony. Of course, it should be well cared for; the look matters when it comes to flags.”
