VIDEO: Crystals Flowing from Armenian Woman's Eyes
SHANTNEWS has captured exclusive footage in the village of Spandaryan, located in the Artik region. Two months ago, strange phenomena began to occur in the life of 22-year-old Satenik Ghazaryan, a bride from the Mikayelyan family. The occurrence was so incredible and astonishing that it shocked all family members. The woman is producing crystal-like tears from her eyes, which occur 4-5 times a day.
What is happening to Satenik is unbelievable. Our cameras documented this extraordinary event. Satenik was particularly eager to meet our crew. The hard crystals formed in her eyes had not been removed all night and until noon, just so the sharp and large crystals could be extracted while we were present. At that moment, what seemed to be unbelievable and surreal became a real revelation in front of the camera.
For two months, several times a day—every hour or two—Satenik's mother-in-law, Zemfira Mikayelyan, removes white, translucent, sharp, and hard crystals from her right eye. Only after this procedure do the intense eye pangs subside. According to Satenik, the crystals appear at intervals, prompting severe discomfort. Although her vision is not deteriorating, when the crystals accumulate, her vision darkens.
Initially, Satenik did not pay attention to the concerning discomfort in her eye, assuming it was something that had entered her eye during agricultural work in the village. However, the persistent pain prompted her mother-in-law to examine her eye closely. What she saw left her in shock.
This unique phenomenon has now become a topic of discussion within the entire village, and only the villagers believe what they have witnessed. They have taken the colorful crystals removed from Satenik's eye as evidence of this miraculous phenomenon.
For Satenik and her family, the situation has now become commonplace. Interestingly, the crystals do not cause pain while she sleeps at night. They are not only hard but also quite sharp, as we confirmed.
The phenomenal case, while astonishing, is also a source of concern for the Mikayelyan family, who worry about Satenik's health. They have tried to understand what causes the crystals to form and their composition by consulting with ophthalmologists. Some doctors deemed the story to be implausible or a product of imagination, while a couple of ophthalmologists examined Satenik but could not diagnose her condition, labeling it as an unknown phenomenon to medical science.
A doctor from the Gyumri Medical Center prescribed medication, which Satenik used for five days, during which no crystals appeared in her eye. However, her overall condition drastically worsened. She was forced to discontinue the medication, as the only effective relief from the pain is the removal of the crystal-like tears.
During our two hours of filming, as Satenik began working with the soil in her garden again, the same phenomena recurred. The crystals had to be removed to prevent the pain from intensifying.
Samples of the crystals have been sent for research by the Deputy Minister of Health. Two weeks have passed, and the Mikayelyans are awaiting a response. For Ms. Zemfira, her daughter-in-law's health is invaluable, especially since her son is a first-degree disabled individual without employment. The main provider of the household is Satenik, who also cares for their 5.5-year-old child.
