Rescuers Recover Body of 65-Year-Old Man from Argel HPP Reservoir

On September 9, a tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 5:15 PM, the police department of Charentsavan received a report that there was a man's body in the reservoir of the Argel HPP.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the information was relayed from the police to the operational management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' rescue service.

A rescue team from Fire and Rescue Unit 47 was dispatched to the scene, followed by a specialized rescue unit 15, led by Deputy Chief Bidzyan.

The rescuers recovered the body of 65-year-old Ashot Zaturyan from the reservoir.
