Julfalakians May Take a Position in Yerevan Municipality

The former head coach of Armenia's Greco-Roman wrestling team, Levon Julfalakyan, may soon lead the sports department of the Yerevan municipality. The specialist recently visited the city hall, where he discussed the issue of his new appointment.

In an interview with ArmSport, the mayor's press secretary Hakob Karapetyan mentioned that Julfalakyan's visit included discussions about several matters related to the development of sports in the capital and the promotion of sporting life.

Karapetyan neither confirmed nor denied the appointment information, adding only that Julfalakyan met personally with Mayor Hayk Marutyan, during which the proposal to lead the sports department was discussed. The municipality's expectations for collaboration with Julfalakyan are described as "positive." Don't forget that Levon Julfalakyan recently stepped down from the position of head coach of Armenia's Greco-Roman wrestling team.
