Tonoyan Visits Artsakh's Defense Army
On August 30, within the framework of the military cooperation and coordination program between the two Armenian Republics, Defense Minister David Tonoyan of Armenia paid a working visit to the Defense Army of Artsakh.
Accompanied by his counterpart from the Republic of Artsakh, Major General Karen Abrahamyan, Minister Tonoyan visited the northern and eastern sectors of the army's frontline, where he was briefed on the operational-tactical situation and recent efforts to enhance troop positions, improve observation systems, and secure tactical advantages over the adversary.
During the tour, the defense ministers discussed various topical issues regarding military cooperation between the two Armenian states and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing comprehensive processes that have already been implemented and are still underway.
The defense ministers also held meetings with the command staff and conscripts, encouraging the most outstanding servicemen and assuring them that the issues of improving service conditions and enhancing combat capabilities will continue to be a daily focus of the leadership of the Armenian armed forces.
